Y’all, I have so many books on literary criticism, the craft of writing, and creativity in general that I have not even cracked the spine on. I preordered Matthew Salesses’s Craft in the Real World in 2021 and have heard nothing but wonderful things about it, yet there it sits on the to-be-read pile.

These books deserve better.

I think.

Let’s find out together! I will work through my TBR pile of nonfiction books on literary and writing topics and write reviews for each. I’ll also review my favorite books in these genres in case they might become your favorites too. If I post a review once a month, I have years of content waiting in the wings. Maybe I’ll try to do more. That would mean fewer years of posts, until I buy more books. And I will buy more books.
