Get Ready for Memoirs Volume 3: Luck!

The penultimate installment of Mogador's memoirs is almost here! Memoirs of a French Courtesan Volume 3: Luck will be in stores and available online May 13, 2025.

This is the longest of the series, and it covers her rocky relationship with Robert as well as the most glancing account of how she endured the upheaval of the 1848 rebellion in France. It's truly amazing sometimes how she maintains such a tight focus on herself, even when everything around her is violent, regime-changing, history-making chaos.

I'm currently translating Volume 4, so the series will be complete in late 2025 or early 2026. (Finishing my master's thesis was more of a crunch than I anticipated, and my translation schedule was thrown off.)

If you haven't started the series yet, you can find Volume 1: Rebellion and Volume 2: Spectacle anywhere you buy books. If you pick up copies now, you'll easily finish them in time for book three in mid-May.
